5. Proof of Residence:
   • Submit one of the following:
     • Aadhar Card
     • Voter ID
     • Ration Card

6. Copy of Old Passport:
   • If applicable, provide a copy of any previous passports.

Academic Documents:

7. Official Letter of Acceptance: Original and a photocopy of the acceptance letter from government approved educational institution in Bangladesh.
8. Academic Transcripts:Original and a photocopy of your academic transcripts from all previously attended institutions (high school and up). Translations might be required if not in English.
9. Degree Certificates: Original and a photocopy of your degree certificates from all previously attended institutions (if applicable). Translations might be required if not in English.

Financial Documents:

10. Financial Proof: Bank statements or other documents demonstrating sufficient funds to cover your living expenses and tuition fees in Bangladesh. The required amount varies depending on the duration of your study program.
11. Sponsorship Letter (if applicable):If someone else is financially sponsoring your studies, a notarized sponsorship letter stating their commitment and their financial details.

Additional Documents:

12. Medical Certificate: A medical certificate issued by a registered medical practitioner stating you are fit to travel and free from any contagious diseases.
13. Travel Insurance:Proof of valid travel insurance covering your entire duration of stay in Bangladesh.
14. Police Clearance Certificate:A police clearance certificate from your home country issued within the last 6 months (may be required depending on your nationality).
15. Return Air Ticket (optional):Proof of a return flight ticket can strengthen your application, but is not mandatory.

• You can save your application anytime.

• Attach photo (45mm x 35mm), white background, top left corner.
• Fill personal, travel, and payment details.
• Choose: New/Extension/Transit/On arrival/No Visa Required (N.V.R).
• Include essential docs; incomplete application not considered.

• Deposit visa fee at the bank, attach receipt on top.

The process for applying for Bangladesh Student visa from India typically involves the following steps:

1. Identify Visa Type: Determine the visa type you need, eligibility criteria, required documents, processing time, and fees. Follow guidelines specific to your visa category.
2. Choose a Recognized Institution: Ensure that you have been accepted into a recognized educational institution in Bangladesh.
3. Obtain an Acceptance Letter: Obtain an acceptance letter or admission confirmation from the government approved educational institution in Bangladesh. where you have been accepted.
4. Complete the Online Application: Create an account and accurately fill out the online form. Double-check all information before submitting. Make sure you have your passport, a digital photo (optional), your address in Bangladesh, and your email address ready.
5. Print and Sign the Application: After submitting the online form, print the completed application and sign it in the designated space.
6. Gather Required Documents: Collect necessary documents such as a valid passport with at least 6 months' validity, old passports (if any), confirmed flight bookings, Admission offer letter, proof of financial means, Medical certificate and any additional documents depending on your visa category.
7. Submit Documents and Schedule Biometric Appointment: Visit the nearest Bangladesh Visa Application Centre (VAC) listed on the MRV Portal website. Submit the printed application form along with all required documents and the visa fee receipt (if applicable). Schedule an appointment for biometric enrolment.
8. Track Application Status: Check the status of your visa application online using the Application ID provided.
9. Collect Passport: Once your visa is approved, collect your passport with the visa stamp from the visa office or Bangladesh Mission.
10. Visa Processing and Collection: Your application will be processed by the Bangladesh High Commission/Consulate. You'll be notified via email about the decision and visa collection procedures. Once approved, collect your passport with the visa stamp from the visa office or Bangladesh Mission.

Important notes:

• Before applying, check if your country accepts online applications.
• You'll need an email address for security and communication.
• Make sure you can print from your computer, as you'll be required to print the online visa application form.
• Have the following information ready: passport, optional 45mm x 35mm digital photo in JPEG format (max 300kb), address in Bangladesh, and your email address.
• Save your online visa application using the "Save & Exit" icon. To resume, use your unique "Visa Application ID" sent to your email.

Remember:

• Saved forms are deleted after 7 days, so return within that time.
• Your online form is valid for 7 days from submission. After that, it expires, and we can't accept it.
• You'll need to start a new application if it expires before submission to a visa application center.
