In Chandigarh, the UT police have taken action against two immigration firms involved in separate visa fraud cases. The alleged firms are accused of deceiving individuals by promising to facilitate their travel abroad on work or study visas, but failing to deliver on these promises.

One case involves Navraj Singh from Rajasthan, who filed a complaint stating that he was defrauded of Rs 11.65 lakh by Aman and others associated with M/s AVM Global, located in Sector-9. They allegedly promised to arrange a study visa for Australia but did not fulfill their commitments.
