How do foreign YouTubers get LA work visas?

YouTubers and other online content creators from outside the United States usually move to Los Angeles on a work visa that allows them to earn income from their creative activities. The most common option is the O 1 visa for individuals with extraordinary ability in arts, entertainment, or media.

To qualify for an O 1 visa, a YouTuber must show a high level of achievement in their field, such as a large following, media coverage, industry awards, significant brand collaborations, or evidence of strong influence and impact.
