What Does "Visa Application Has Been Decided" Mean?

When the German Embassy informs you that “Your visa application has been decided upon,” it means that a final decision has been made on your application for the German National Employment Visa. However, the email itself does not confirm whether the decision is positive (approved) or negative (rejected).

Usually, you will be asked to collect your passport or it will be returned to you by courier. The outcome will be visible once you receive your passport. If the visa is approved, your passport will contain the visa sticker. If it is refused, you will receive a rejection letter explaining the reasons for the decision.
