When reapplying for a Canadian study visa (or study permit) for the second time, the biometric process may depend on your individual circumstances. Here's what you need to know:

1. Biometrics for First-time Applicants

• For most applicants, biometrics (fingerprints and photo) are required when applying for a Canadian visa or permit for the first time.

• Biometrics are usually valid for 10 years.

2. Biometrics for Reapplying (Second Time)
