Job Description: IT Audit Consultant/Senior Consultant
As an IT Audit Consultant/Senior Consultant, you’ll play a key role in delivering comprehensive IT audit and risk services to our clients. Your responsibilities will span various phases of projects and engagement management across multiple clients.
What You’ll Do:
Lead various client engagements, including IT Risk Assessments, Audit Planning, Application reviews, Governance Risk & Compliance, Network and Database Configuration Reviews, Data Analytics, SOD Analysis, and Business Process Understanding. Collaborate with organizations to identify and manage business process and IT risks within their strategic execution model. Assist clients in implementing key frameworks. Manage end-to-end client engagements, from planning to completion, including overall direction, execution, and budget management. Oversee day-to-day aspects of engagements, managing multiple work streams and adapting priorities as needed. Evaluate and test client-related business process and IT controls, identifying areas of risk. Leverage current IT trends and systems processes to identify security and risk management issues and opportunities for process improvement. Work with team members and client personnel to plan engagement strategy, define objectives, and address technology-related control risks. Maintain professionalism and strong client relationships, proactively managing expectations, ensuring satisfaction, meeting deadlines, and resolving issues. Assist in proposals, business development calls, and maintaining certifications and compliance requirements.
Who We’re Seeking:
Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field required. 2-5 years of IT audit experience, preferably in consulting, Big 4 firms, or large CPA firms. Security experience or training is necessary. Expertise in areas like access control, security architecture, network security, etc., is beneficial. Exceptional client service, communication, and relationship-building skills are essential. Ability to manage multiple engagements and priorities in a fast-paced team environment. Strong documentation, analytical, organizational, and computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) required. CISA, CISSP, or CISM certification preferred.
