Job Title: IT Support Engineer

Overview: Join Severfield, the UK’s top structural steel provider, in a rare opportunity as an IT Support Engineer. You’ll work at our Dalton or York site, providing technical support to users onsite and remotely, contributing to our Group IT Support Team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage IT requirements for new starters, role changes, and leavers.
• Handle incoming requests from users and IT suppliers.
• Perform computer builds, repairs, troubleshooting, and software setups.
• Manage user accounts, troubleshoot software issues, and support mobile devices.
• Support Teams meeting rooms and assist with IT system updates.

Requirements:

• 2 years of similar role experience.
• Configuration and troubleshooting in Windows, Office 365 environments.
• Active Directory and Service Desk/ITIL experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Desirables:

• Asset management, Microsoft Teams Room systems, Mobile Device Management experience.
• Intermediate network troubleshooting skills.

Working hours: Monday – Thursday: 8.30 am – 5.15 pm Friday: 8.30 am – 3.00 pm
