China has extended its visa-free travel policy to include Poland, Australia, and New Zealand until the end of 2025. This initiative, gradually announced since early 2024, now encompasses 11 additional European countries and Malaysia, aiming to boost business and tourism by facilitating easier travel.
Citizens of Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Spain, and Switzerland can now enjoy visa-free entry to China until the end of 2024. Polish citizens will join this list on July 1, 2024, expanding the program’s reach and accessibility.
The primary goal of this scheme is to enhance high-quality exchanges between Chinese and foreign nationals, promoting greater openness and collaboration. According to Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning, this trial program allows visa-free entry for up to 15 days, fostering international connections and economic growth.
