Job Description

An NHS Trust in the North West is seeking a Consultant in Haematology to join their well-established haematology team. This role involves diagnosing and managing patients with a range of haematological conditions, including blood cancers, anaemias, and clotting disorders, while working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional care. The consultant will also contribute to clinical research, service development, and medical education within the haematology department. Job Details: Consultant – Haematology

The consultant will lead haematology clinics, oversee treatment plans for patients with blood disorders, and engage in research, clinical trials, and innovations in haematology care.

Eligibility Criteria:

  •  Consultant Grade Experience: Minimum 6–7 years post-internship/foundation training
  •  Specialty Experience: Minimum 5+ years in Haematology
  •  Qualifications: Relevant postgraduate qualification (MRCP, FRCS, MRCPsych, FRCR, etc.)
  •  Registration: Full GMC registration with a license to practice
  •  Language Requirement: IELTS (minimum 7.5 overall, 7.0 in each section) or OET (Grade B)
