Job Description

An NHS Trust in the East of England is seeking a Consultant in Neurophysiology to join their multidisciplinary neurology team. This role involves providing high-quality neurophysiological services, diagnosing and treating neurological conditions through electrophysiological techniques. The consultant will work collaboratively with other specialists in the neurology department, contribute to clinical research, and support teaching and service development. Job Details: Consultant – Neurophysiology

The consultant will lead neurophysiology clinics, perform and interpret electrophysiological tests (e.g., EEG, EMG), and contribute to clinical education, research, and innovations in neurophysiological care.

Eligibility Criteria:

  •  Consultant Grade Experience: Minimum 6–7 years post-internship/foundation training
  • Specialty Experience: Minimum 5+ years in Neurophysiology
  •  Qualifications: Relevant postgraduate qualification (MRCP, FRCS, MRCPsych, FRCR, etc.)
  •  Registration: Full GMC registration with a license to practice
  •  Language Requirement: IELTS (minimum 7.5 overall, 7.0 in each section) or OET (Grade B)
