Job Description
An NHS Trust in London is looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist in CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) Community. This role involves leading the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of young people with complex mental health conditions. The consultant will work within a multidisciplinary team, providing specialist care, supporting families, and contributing to service improvements. Eligibility Criteria:
- Consultant Grade Experience: Minimum 6–7 years post-internship/foundation training
- Specialty Experience: Minimum 5+ years in Psychiatry
- Qualifications: Relevant postgraduate qualification (MRCP, FRCS, MRCPsych, FRCR, etc.)
- Additional Requirements: Section 12 approved or eligible
- Registration: Full GMC registration with a license to practice
- Language Requirement: IELTS (minimum 7.5 overall, 7.0 in each section) or OET (Grade B)
