Job Description
An NHS Trust in the North West is seeking an experienced Consultant in Respiratory Medicine to provide expert care in the diagnosis and management of respiratory conditions. This role offers the opportunity to lead respiratory services, collaborate on multidisciplinary care pathways, and contribute to clinical research and teaching. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced respiratory physician to work in a modern NHS hospital, engage in service development, and work with advanced diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures.
Job Details: Consultant – Respiratory Medicine
The consultant will be responsible for diagnosing and managing respiratory diseases such as COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease, and lung cancer. The role also includes conducting bronchoscopy procedures, leading sleep and ventilation services, and supporting acute and critical care units.- Location: North West, United Kingdom

Eligibility Criteria:
- Consultant Experience: Minimum 6–7 years post-internship/foundation training
- Specialty Experience: At least 5+ years in respiratory medicine
- Qualifications: Relevant postgraduate qualification (MRCP, FRCS, MRCPsych, FRCR, etc.)
- Registration: Full GMC registration with a license to practice
- NHS Experience: Required
- Language Requirement: IELTS (minimum 7.5 overall, 7.0 in each section) or OET (Grade B)
