Job Description
An NHS Trust in the East of England is seeking a Consultant in Stroke Medicine to provide expert care in acute stroke management, rehabilitation, and stroke prevention. This role involves working within a multidisciplinary stroke team, leading hyperacute stroke care, and contributing to service development and clinical research. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced stroke specialist to join a modern NHS hospital, play a key role in stroke unit development, and engage in innovative treatment approaches such as thrombectomy services.

The consultant will be responsible for leading stroke units, delivering hyperacute stroke care, collaborating with neurologists, neuroradiologists, and rehabilitation teams, and contributing to stroke prevention strategies.- Location: East of England, United Kingdom

Eligibility Criteria:
- Consultant Grade Experience: Minimum 6–7 years post-internship/foundation training
- Specialty Experience: Minimum 5+ years in stroke medicine
- Qualifications: Relevant postgraduate qualification (MRCP, FRCS, MRCPsych, FRCR, etc.)
- Registration: Full GMC registration with a license to practice
- UK Experience: Required, but CCT is not mandatory
- Language Requirement: IELTS (minimum 7.5 overall, 7.0 in each section) or OET (Grade B)
