An NHS Trust in the West Midlands is seeking a Consultant in Stroke Medicine to lead and enhance acute stroke care, stroke rehabilitation, and thrombolysis/thrombectomy services. The role involves clinical leadership, service development, and participation in multidisciplinary stroke care pathways.
Job Details: Consultant – Stroke Medicine
The consultant will be responsible for diagnosing and managing stroke and cerebrovascular diseases, leading hyper-acute stroke units, and collaborating with neurologists, radiologists, and rehabilitation specialists.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Consultant Experience: Minimum 6–7 years post-internship/foundation training
- Specialty Experience: At least 5+ years in stroke medicine
- Qualifications: Relevant postgraduate qualification (MRCP, FRCS, MRCPsych, FRCR, etc.)
- Registration: Full GMC registration with a license to practice
- NHS Experience: Required
- Language Requirement: IELTS (minimum 7.5 overall, 7.0 in each section) or OET (Grade B)
