The Chinese Embassy in India has announced that it will extend the reduced visa fees for travelers until December 31, 2025. This move is designed to simplify the visa application process and lower the cost for foreign visitors to China, with the goal of enhancing travel and strengthening the relationship between China and India.

The updated visa fees are as follows:

  1. Single-entry visa: ₹2,900
This allows one entry to China during the visa's validity.
  2. Double-entry visa: ₹4,400
This visa permits two separate entries into China within the allowed period.
  3. Six-month multiple-entry visa: ₹5,900
This visa enables multiple visits to China over six months.
  4. 12-month or longer multiple-entry visa: ₹8,800
This allows multiple entries into China over a period of 12 months or longer.
  5. Group visa: ₹1,800 per applicant
This visa is for travelers applying together as part of a group, making it more affordable for those traveling collectively.
  6. Official group visa: ₹1,800 per applicant
Similar to the regular group visa, but specifically for official or government-related trips.

This extension follows similar measures introduced last year aimed at reducing travel costs and promoting greater engagement between the two countries. By offering more affordable visa options, China hopes to encourage increased tourism, business visits, and cultural exchanges between India and China.
