    From September 1, 2022, people with ordinary passports from certain countries can visit Myanmar for tourism without a visa during a specified Exemption Period. This applies when arriving at and departing from Yangon, Mandalay, or Naypyidaw International Airports. If you plan to stay in Myanmar beyond the Exemption Period, it is recommended to apply for the suitable e-Visa.

  • Get Approval Letter:

    • The approval process may take a minimum of 3 working days.
    • Once approved, you will receive the e-Visa approval letter via email.
    • Print out the approval letter and ensure it's brought along with your passport.
  • e-Visa Stamping Upon Arrival:

    • Upon arrival at the Myanmar Immigration checkpoint, present both the e-Visa approval letter and your passport to the Immigration officer.
