  • When you're ready to apply, download the visa form, fill it out, print it, and take it along with the necessary documents to the Visa Application Centre for submission.

  • After filling out your visa form, you can drop it off at the visa application center without needing to schedule an appointment. Please verify the center's opening hours.

  • After submitting your application, you'll need to pay the visa application fee. If you download and print the form to bring to the Visa Application Centre, you can make the payment during your appointment.
  • You'll pay the visa fee at the Visa Application Centre.

  • You'll get an email when your decision is back at the Visa Application Centre. If email isn't easy for you, you might get updates by SMS on your phone. Check if this service is at your Centre.
  • You can also track your visa status online. Use the Reference Number and your last name from the invoice/receipt.

  • You can retrieve your passport after a visa decision either from the Visa Application Centre or via courier for an extra fee.
  • To collect in person: bring the Centre's receipt and Government ID. You might send a representative with an authorization letter, their ID, your receipt, and your ID.

When applying for a work visa (Long term visa) to Malta from Bangladesh, you will generally need to provide a comprehensive set of documents to support your application. Submit both original and copy of all documents.

  1. Application Form: Duly filled in and signed by the applicant.

  4. Overseas Travel Medical Insurance:
    • Valid for all Schengen countries, covering at least 30,000 Euros or equivalent for all risks for a minimum of 91 days from the date of travel to Malta.
  5. Confirmed Travel Itinerary:
    • Including intra-Schengen flight reservation if traveling to multiple Schengen States.
  6. Invitation Letter from Employer:
    • Stating the applicant’s professional status and detailed work responsibilities in Malta.
    • Signed by an authorized person, clearly indicating their name and designation.
  7. Applicant’s Curriculum Vitae (CV).
  8. Signed Reference Letter:
    • From the applicant’s past Employer.
  9. Original Bank Statement:
    • Showing financial movements over the last six months.
    • Must be stamped and signed by the bank.
  10. Signed Employment Contract:
    • Certified as a true copy by a Maltese Public Notary.
  11. Approval in Principle Letter:
    • Issued by Identita, confirming the approval of the single work permit request.

    • Original documents (Apostilled) with photocopies.
  13. Proof of Accommodation:

      • Confirmed hotel booking.
      • Signed lease contract.
      • ‘Declaration of Proof’ signed by the Invitee, with supporting documents in original, witnessed by a Maltese Public Notary.
  14. Passport Copies:
