When applying for a Colombia visa, you need to pay two fees: one for the visa study and another if your application is approved.

Payment Methods:

  1. Online via PSE Electronic Service Provider: Use your visa application reference number for online payment.
  2. Servibanca: Pay at any SERVIBANCA ATM in Colombia.
  3. GNB Sudameris Bank: Pay in cash and Colombian pesos at any GNB Sudameris Bank location. Payments at the Avenida Carrera N° 19 # 98-03 headquarters are only accepted in person, Monday to Friday, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  4. Payment at Consulates: Contact the relevant consulate to learn about accepted payment methods.

Credit Card Payments: Accepts VISA and MasterCard for payments.

Restrictions: The V Tourism visa doesn't permit work in Colombia.

Validity: The visa is valid for up to one year, allowing a stay of 90 days initially, extendable for another 90 days. After 180 days within a year, the stay cannot be extended until a new year begins from the visa issuance date.

Important notes:

  • Upon arrival, immigration authorities will ask for proof of a valid exit ticket.
  • Visitor visas are designed for short to medium-term stays and do not confer temporary or permanent resident status.
  • Some allow specific work activities with designated entities or companies.
  • The V holiday and work visa, by its nature, provides open work permission, contingent on the principle of reciprocity.
