Al Jassasiya is Qatar's most significant rock art site, featuring over 800 petroglyphs carved into sandstone hills along the northeastern coast. The site is thought to have been a lookout point, as its name "Al Jassasiya" translates to "the searchers" in Arabic.

Transportation

Traveling via Al Shamal Highway, take Exit 66, turn right, and then left at the first intersection. Continue for about 3 km, and the site will be on your left. A 4x4 vehicle is recommended due to the terrain of the area.
