DOCUMENT CHECKLIST

When applying for a student visa (Non-Immigrant Visa- ED) to Thailand from Bangladesh, you will generally need to provide a comprehensive set of documents to support your application. The following checklist covers the most common documents needed:

Basic Requirements:

  1. Completed and signed visa application form.
  2. Valid passport with a minimum of six months remaining validity.
  3. Photocopy of the last Thai visa page (if any).
  4. One recent color passport-sized photo (3.5 x 4.5cm) taken against a white background, within the past 6 months.
  5. Evidence of adequate financial resources:
    • Original bank solvency letter.
    • Original bank statement for the last 6 months with satisfactory transactions (at least 20,000 Baht per person or 40,000 Baht per family, or 60,000 Taka per person or 120,000 Taka per family).
    • For sponsored applicants, include the company’s trade license, bank statement, and bank solvency letter.
  6. Copy of air ticket or a booking confirmation or an itinerary.

For Business Visits or Training with Governmental Agencies/State Enterprise/International Organizations:

  • Original trade license in Bengali.
  • Photocopy of notarized English translation of the trade license.
  • Memorandum and Articles of Association for a limited company if the applicant’s name is not mentioned in the trade license.

Additional Requirements:

  1. Visa request letter from the applicant or from the office, indicating the purpose of the visit.
  2. Applicant’s ID card.
  3. Invitation Letter and Acceptance Letter from the school, university, or institution in Thailand, signed by the concerned authority.
  4. Latest educational certificate certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA).

For Foreign Monks Pursuing Study in Religious Field:

  • Letter of approval from the Office of the National Buddhism.
  • Authorization from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand.

  3. Gather Required Documents:Collect the necessary documents for your study visa application, which typically include: Passport, Visa application form, Passport-sized photographs, Acceptance letter, Financial documents, Educational documents, Health certificate and Proof of accommodation.
  4. Begin Your Application: Download and fill out the visa application form. Print the completed form and gather all necessary documents.
