    Citizens from 79 countries can visit Belarus without a visa for up to 30 days, including the day they arrive and the day they leave.

    Citizens of Egypt, Gambia, Haiti, India, Iran, Jordan, Lebanon, Namibia, Pakistan, Samoa, South Africa, and Vietnam need to have a valid multiple-entry visa for EU or Schengen countries. Their passports must have a stamp showing they entered these countries. They also need tickets confirming their departure from Belarus within 30 days of entering.

    To enter Belarus without a visa through "Minsk National Airport," "Airport Brest," "Airport Gomel," "Airport Grodno," "Airport Mogilev," or "Airport Vitebsk," travelers need:

    • A passport valid for at least 90 days beyond their planned departure from Belarus.
    • Enough money: at least 2 base rates per day or 50 base rates for a full 30-day stay, in Belarusian rubles or foreign currency.
    • Medical insurance with coverage of at least 10,000 euros, valid in Belarus for the whole stay.

    Note: If you stay in Belarus for more than 10 working days, you need to register with the local citizenship and migration office or online at portal.gov.by. If you stay in hotels, hostels, or other group accommodations, the administration will register you automatically when you check in.

    You cannot extend the visa-free stay beyond the 30-day limit.

  • How to Visit Belarus Without a Visa:

    Indian citizens can visit Belarus without a visa for up to 30 days, but they must enter and exit through Minsk National Airport. However, this rule doesn't apply if you're traveling to or from Russian Federation airports, except Moscow.

    To enter Belarus without a visa via Minsk National Airport, Indian citizens need the following:

    1. A valid ordinary passport for international travel.
    2. Financial means of at least 25 Euros (or equivalent in dollars or Belarusian rubles) per day of stay.
    3. Medical insurance with coverage of at least 10,000 Euros valid in Belarus (can be purchased at Minsk National Airport upon arrival).
    4. A valid multiple-entry visa from a European Union or Schengen Area member state with an entry stamp (must have been used at least once before entering Belarus).
    5. Flight tickets with confirmation of departure from Minsk National Airport within 30 days of entry.

    If your stay in Belarus exceeds 5 days, you must register with the Ministry of Home (Internal) Affairs of Belarus. Hotels usually handle this registration for guests, but if you stay in apartments or with friends, you or your host must complete the registration at a local Home Affairs office within 5 days of arrival.

  • For the smoothest visa process, it’s a good idea to apply at least a month before your planned Belarus trip.
  • There are two choices: regular processing, which takes 5 days (e.g., if you apply on Monday, your visa will be ready by Friday at 9:30 a.m.), and express processing, which takes within 48 hours (usually the next workday). However, express processing might not always be available due to a high volume of applications.
  • The best part is you don’t need to schedule an appointment. Just visit during these hours: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., unless it’s a Belarus National holiday.

Important notes:

  • Once you receive your passport with the visa, make sure to check the visa stamp
  • It’s important to note that you cannot extend your visa by visiting the Embassy. If your travel plans change, and you need more time in Belarus, you’ll have to apply for a new visa.
  • To do this, visit the local office of the Citizenship and Migration Department where you initially registered in Belarus. Additionally, when you arrive in Belarus, you must register at the local citizenship and migration office of the Ministry of Interior within 10 business days.
  • They will provide a stamp in your passport. If you are staying in a hotel, the hotel staff will assist you with this process.
