Estonia Collect Your Passport: Retrieve Documents

After your visa application decision has been made, you can collect your documents/passport from the Visa Application Centre or have them returned to you by courier, depending on the delivery mode chosen during the visa application submission.

For in-person collection:

You’ll need to bring:

  • The original ICR (Invoice Cum Receipt) and a copy of a government-issued ID.

Third-party collection of documents or passports is not permitted, except in the following cases:

  1. Immediate family members (parents, children, siblings, spouse).
  2. A person authorized to collect on behalf of an official or diplomatic passport holder if authorized on government letterhead or department.
  3. Representatives of a company, with an authorization letter on the company’s letterhead and their official ID card.

Those collecting passports/documents for any of the above reasons must bring:

  • Photocopies of government ID cards of all applicants.
  • The original ICR.
  • An authorization letter from the applicant.

In case the applicant loses their ICR, they must visit the centre in person to collect the passport from the counter.

Please note: Passports must be collected from the Visa Application Centre within 30 days from the date the centre receives them back from the Embassy. After 30 days, passports will be returned to the Embassy of Estonia.
