Step-by-step guide

Let us walk you through the process

The first step is to visit the E-Visa portal, where you can access comprehensive information regarding the visa requirements, application procedures, and any other relevant details about obtaining a visa for Romania. This information can help you understand the process and requirements before beginning your application.

On the E-Visa portal, you can input your specific details, such as your citizenship and travel information. By providing this information, the portal will help you determine whether you require a visa to enter Romania based on your particular situation. It will guide you on whether you need to proceed with the visa application process.

If you need a visa, you can initiate the application process online. You will be required to provide your email address and other necessary personal information as part of the application. Additionally, you will need to upload the required supporting documents for your visa application. These documents might include your passport, travel itinerary, proof of accommodation, and other relevant documentation.

After completing the online application and uploading the necessary documents, you will need to submit your visa application to your chosen diplomatic mission or consular office for further validation. This step ensures that your application and documents are reviewed and verified by the relevant authorities.

Once your application is ready for submission, you will need to schedule an appointment at the Romanian embassy or consular office to personally submit your visa application. The appointment can be made at a convenient time for you, based on the available time slots provided by the embassy or consular office.

On the scheduled date and time, you must personally submit your complete visa application, including all the necessary supporting documents, to the chosen diplomatic mission or consular office. During the submission, you will be required to sign the application form and pay the required visa processing fee.

After the submission, you can regularly check the status of your visa application via email or by accessing your account on the E-Visa portal. The embassy or consular office will inform you of the resolution of your application. If your visa application is approved, you can collect your passport from the embassy or consular office, which will contain the issued visa.
