Let us walk you through the process

  • First, figure out the right visa type for you and see if you qualify. Find out the required documents, how long it takes to apply, and the fees.
  • Follow the guidelines for your visa category. If your documents aren’t in English, get them translated before applying.

  • Visit http://visa.mofa.gov.vn or click on the "Visa Application Form" link provided.
  • Use Adobe Acrobat Reader or a compatible software to open the electronic application form in PDF format.
  • Complete all required information in the application form. Pay attention to sections marked with an asterisk (*) as they are compulsory fields.
  • Double-check the information you've filled in. Once everything is accurate, download and print a copy of the form.

  • If you're submitting the application through a Travel Agent, paste a recent photograph on the printed form.
  • If applying in person at the Application Centre, you can use the photograph service available there.

  • Visit BLS Visa Application Centre for the Republic of Vietnam.
  • Submit the completed application form along with your passport to the staff at the centre.

  • Upon arrival at the centre, check in at the reception desk.
  • Obtain a token number and proceed to the counter where a Customer Service Officer will verify your documents.
  • If any information is missing or incorrect, you'll be informed and asked to complete the requirements before proceeding.
  • Pay the Visa Fee & Service Charges at the counter.
  • Receive a receipt with an Acknowledgement note. Keep this receipt safe as you'll need it during passport collection.

  • The Embassy of Vietnam accepts applications and returns passports from Mondays to Fridays.
  • Applications are usually processed within 5 business days from receipt, but some may take longer.
  • Track your application status (put link from our website) on the BLS International website.

  • The BLS centre will send your application and passport to the Embassy of Vietnam in New Delhi.
  • Once the Embassy processes your visa, they will return your passport to the BLS centre.
  • You can collect your passport with the visa in person from the BLS centre.
  • Alternatively, opt for the Courier service if you prefer to have your passport and visa delivered to your address.
