  1. Schengen Visa Application Cover Letter:

    • Original personal bank statement for the last six months, and company bank statement if self-employed, both original and photocopy.
  9. Documents of Establishment in Bangladesh:
    • Financial documents, partnerships, ownership of real estates, marriage certificate, birth certificate of children, or any other relevant documents.
  10. Health and Travel Insurance:
    • Original and photocopy of health and travel insurance for Schengen, valid for the duration of the stay.
  11. Proof of Accommodation:
    • Proof of accommodation or hotel reservation/s at destination/s, if tourism.
  12. Travel Reservations:
    • Copy of reservations for travel (flight, train, boat, etc.) for the entire period of travel, with a note not to purchase before visa approval.
  13. Travel Programme:
    • Travel programme or draft tour programme, if appropriate.
  14. Proof of Family or Other Ties:
    • Proof of family and/or other ties with the host/inviting person if visiting family or friends.
  15. Identity Document of Inviting Person:
    • Copy of document showing the inviting person’s identity (passport, ID-card, Residency Card, etc.), if visiting family or friends.

Prepare an additional copy of your passport ID page for passport collection. Ensure that all required documents are printed on A4 size paper and avoid using stapler pins or any other materials to attach the documents.

Note:

Denmark Online Visa Application Form

This is Denmark’s online visa application form. You use it to apply for a Schengen visa through Danish embassies and consulates.

Here’s how to apply:

  • Click on ‘Register’ and create a login if you haven’t already.
  • Check your email for an activation link and click on it to activate your new user profile.
  • After logging in, choose ‘Individual application’ or ‘Group application’ if you’re traveling with others.
  • You can apply up to 6 months before your trip, and your progress is saved, so you can finish later.
 

VISA APPLICATION GUIDELINES:

The process for applying for Denmark visitor visa from Bangladesh typically involves the following steps:

  1. Identify Visa Type:
    • Determine which type of visa you need and check if you meet the eligibility criteria.

  2. Greenland or Faroe Islands Travel:
    • If you plan to visit Greenland or the Faroe Islands along with Denmark, you can include both in your Schengen visa application.

Processing Time:

  • Normally, it takes 15 days for the Embassy to approve applications submitted with all required documents at the VFS Visa Application Centre. During busy times, submit your application early.
  • In some cases, processing may take up to 45 days if further review or consultation is necessary.
  • For rare cases requiring extra documents, processing may take up to 60 days.

Important notes:

  • To apply for a visa, you must use the online application on ApplyVisa.
  • Your stay cannot exceed 90 days within a six-month period.
  • You can only apply for a visa through the Danish embassy/consulate or the visa application center if you are legally staying in the country where it is located. For example, if you want to apply through the Danish embassy in Singapore, you must be legally staying in Singapore.
