Visa Exemption for Malaysia
- Starting from 1 December 2023 until 31 December 2024, Indian passport holders will be eligible for visa-free entry into Malaysia. This allows a stay of up to 30 days per entry.
- From December 1, 2023, to December 31, 2026, citizens of the People's Republic of China are exempt from visa requirements for single-entry tourist visits to Malaysia.
Note: Please note that no refunds will be issued for any visa fees already paid.
To qualify, Indian passport holders must meet the following requirements and present the necessary documents during security and immigration checks at the port of entry:
- A passport valid for at least six (6) months;
- A confirmed return flight ticket;
- A confirmed hotel reservation;
- Proof of sufficient financial means;
- Completion of the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) online at least three (3) days prior to arrival. The MDAC form for international travelers is available at https://imigresen-online.imi.gov.my/mdac/main.

Visa on Arrival (VOA):
Visa on Arrival facility is available for citizens of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) and India, subject to the following conditions:
i) Visitors must arrive in Malaysia via Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, or Brunei, and possess a valid visa from either of these countries.
ii) Visitors coming from any of the four mentioned countries can enter Malaysia through designated entry points, which are as follows:

Immigration Control Post, Labuan International Terminal Ferry ONLYVOA fees is RM200.00 and visitors must show that they have at least USD500 cash (or equivalent in Ringgit Malaysia) and a confirmed return ticket.
Visitors are only allowed to stay for 15 days. Enforcement action based on the Immigration Act and Regulations will be taken against those who stay beyond the allowed duration.
