Shortage Occupation List (Updated Nov 2023)

The Talent List of Hong Kong was initially established in 2018, designed to effectively and strategically attract top-quality talents in support of Hong Kong's transformation into a high value-added and diversified economy. Following its 2023 review, the List now includes 51 professions across 9 industry segments.

This List identifies the professions most needed by Hong Kong and those eligible for immigration facilitation under the General Employment Policy (GEP), the Admission Scheme for Mainland Talents and Professionals (ASMTP), and the Quality Migrant Admission Scheme (QMAS).
