Two Delhi-based travel agents were arrested for allegedly facilitating the issuance of counterfeit Poland visas, as confirmed by police authorities on Thursday.

The arrested individuals, Udaypal Singh (42) and Tajinder (51), were detained following the deportation of two passengers, Saurav Kumar and Sumit Kumar from Uttar Pradesh, who were found attempting to travel with forged visas via Dubai. Upon their return to India, an investigation was launched, leading to the identification of Paramjeet Singh, a key intermediary, who disclosed the involvement of Udaypal and Tajinder.

Udaypal, who had been previously arrested for a similar offense in 2024, operated a printing company where he manufactured fraudulent travel documents, including visas. Tajinder is accused of working in conjunction with Udaypal to facilitate the distribution of these counterfeit visas in exchange for substantial sums of money, reportedly up to Rs 10 lakh per individual.

During interrogation, Udaypal admitted to having printed at least 11 fake visas prior to his arrest, citing financial difficulties as the primary motivation behind his involvement in the illegal activity. Tajinder also confessed to his participation in the scheme, according to police statements.
