Delhi Police’s Crime Branch has arrested three men for running a fake visa and overseas job racket that duped several job seekers of lakhs of rupees.

The accused — Deepak Pandey (33), Yash Singh (23), and Wasim Akram (25) — allegedly posed as representatives of a global outsourcing firm, creating a fake website and using a foreign WhatsApp number to appear legitimate. Victims were lured with promises of jobs abroad and asked to pay for medical tests and visa processing.

Police said the gang even booked genuine diagnostic tests to win trust before issuing forged job offer letters, visa approvals, and appointment slips. A raid at their Zamrudpur office led to the recovery of laptops, mobile phones, forged documents, and other incriminating material.

Authorities noted that the racket came to light after a VFS Global consultant reported misuse of its branding. Police have urged job seekers to verify agencies before making payments and remain alert to fraudulent offers.
