- Skilled professionals with at least five years of legal employment in Malaysia.
- High-net-worth individuals investing USD 2 million (₹17.4 crore) for five years.

- Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) visa holders, already on a 10-year residence scheme.
Application Process
The process involves submitting required documents—such as a valid passport, employment or investment proofs, and marriage or birth certificates—through the Immigration Department in Putrajaya or local offices. After paying the ₹11,000 fee, applications undergo a review that can take 2–5 years. Successful applicants must then pay an additional RM 1,500 (₹31,200) to secure their MyPR card, which serves as proof of residency.
