Oman Golden Visa: Path to Business and Long-Term Stay

Oman has launched its Golden Visa program, offering foreign investors, entrepreneurs, and professionals a pathway to long-term residency and business ownership.

The initiative grants renewable residency permits for five to ten years, depending on investment levels and applicant profiles. Eligible categories include high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, professionals in specialized fields, and retirees with a stable income.

The Golden Visa provides multiple benefits such as 100% business ownership rights, the ability to sponsor family members, and greater security for long-term settlement. Authorities say the program is designed to boost foreign investment, support business growth, and position Oman as a competitive hub in the Gulf region.

Officials emphasized that the move aligns with Oman Vision 2040, the country’s long-term strategy aimed at diversifying the economy and attracting international expertise.
