Indians are now eligible to apply for Qatar’s Golden Visa, a long-term residency program aimed at attracting investors, entrepreneurs, and skilled professionals to the country. The initiative offers both temporary and permanent residency options, depending on the level of investment.

Residency Options:

  • Temporary Residency: Renewable for five years, requiring an investment of approximately QAR 730,000 (around USD 200,000 or ₹1.5 crore) in designated real estate areas such as The Pearl, Lusail City, or Msheireb.
  • Permanent Residency: Requires a minimum investment of QAR 3,650,000 (around USD 1 million or ₹7.5 crore) in government-approved real estate zones. Permanent residents gain access to public healthcare and education, can sponsor family members, and enjoy long-term stability for business or employment.

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid passport, be in good health, have a clean criminal record, and provide proof of the required investment.

Application Process:
Applications can be submitted online via the Hukoomi Portal or at Ministry of Interior (MOI) service centers. The approval process typically takes 2–4 weeks.

Benefits of the Golden Visa:
