Royal Thai Consulate Renews VFS Visa Contract in India

The Royal Thai Consulate has renewed its contract with VFS Global to manage visa applications for travelers from India. This partnership aims to enhance the visa application process and accessibility across various categories. VFS Global will operate multiple centers in major Indian cities, including New Delhi and Kolkata, ensuring applicants can conveniently submit their documents.

Having collaborated with the Thai government for nearly two decades, VFS Global has handled over 2.1 million Thai visa applications since 2005. This renewal emphasizes VFS Global’s commitment to customer satisfaction and operational excellence, reflecting the trust placed in them by multiple governments, including Thailand.

VFS Global also extends its services to tier 2 cities, allowing applicants from regions such as Agra and Guwahati to utilize drop box services. This initiative aims to make the visa application process more accessible for those outside major metropolitan areas, thereby broadening Thailand’s appeal as a travel destination.

Thailand remains a favored tourist spot for Indian travelers, and the continued partnership with VFS Global is expected to facilitate a smoother application process, promoting tourism between the two nations.
