In a major boost to tourism and global connectivity, Vietnam has launched a series of traveler-friendly visa reforms in 2025. These changes are designed to make visiting Vietnam simpler, faster, and more appealing to tourists, business visitors, and long-term residents.

Highlights of the New Reforms:

  • Extended Visa-Free Travel: Visitors from countries like the UK, France, Germany, Japan, and South Korea can now enjoy visa-free stays up to 45 days, extended through March 2028.
  • E-Visas for All Countries: Vietnam now offers 90-day e-visas to citizens of every country and territory, making the application process easier and fully online.
  • Flexible Entry Points: E-visa holders can enter through 8 airports, 16 land crossings, and 13 seaports across the country.
  • Golden Visa on the Horizon: A new long-term Golden Visa program is in development, aimed at attracting investors, digital nomads, and skilled professionals, offering stays of up to 10 years.

A Brighter Future for Travel and Business

These visa updates are part of Vietnam’s efforts to welcome more international visitors and encourage long-term partnerships in tourism, innovation, and investment. With friendlier rules, easier applications, and longer stays, Vietnam is quickly becoming one of Asia’s top travel and business destinations.
