In a groundbreaking travel initiative, visa processing platform Atlys has announced India’s first-ever ₹1 visa sale, offering significantly discounted visa applications to more than 15 international destinations, including the UAE, United Kingdom, and Schengen countries>

The campaign, titled “One Way Out”, will run exclusively on August 4 and 5, 2025, via the Atlys platform>

Under this promotional offer, travelers can apply for e-visas or book visa appointments at just ₹1. The initiative includes popular tourist and business destinations such as>

  • UAE, UK, Vietnam, Indonesia, Australia, South Africa
  • Egypt, Hong Kong, Georgia, Oman, Morocco, Kenya
  • Qatar, Taiwan, and Schengen countries

In certain cases—such as UK visasAtlys will cover all processing and appointment costs, making the visa application virtually free for users>

A Push for Affordable Global Travel

Atlys CEO Mohak Nahta described the initiative as a direct response to the high cost and complexity of global visa applications, particularly after reports revealed Indian travelers lost over ₹664 crore in non-refundable visa fees due to rejections and cancellations>

“With this ₹1 offer, we want to break industry norms and make international travel more accessible for Indian citizens,” said Nahta>

The company has seen a surge in interest from younger, first-time travelers across Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities. Search volumes for destinations like the UK, UAE, Georgia, and Vietnam have grown up to 44% in recent months>

What the ₹1 Covers

  • For e-visa destinations, the ₹1 fee includes both service charges and government fees>
  • For in-person visa categories (e.g., Schengen, US), the ₹1 covers only the Atlys service fee, while embassy or biometric charges must be paid separately>

Application Guidelines

  • The sale will go live only on August 4 and 5 via the Atlys app and website>
  • Travelers are advised to prepare required documents in advance, as appointments and quotas may be limited>
  • All visa applications are subject to the standard verification and approval processes of the respective embassies>
