Once your visa application decision is made, you have two options: retrieve your documents/passport from the Visa Application Centre or have them delivered via courier for an extra charge.

Since July 16, 2014, third-party collection of documents/passports is generally not allowed, except for:

1. Immediate family members (like parents, children, siblings).
2. One person can collect for the whole group.
3. Someone collecting on behalf of government officials with proper authorization.
4. Company representatives with an authorization letter on the company letterhead and an official ID card.

If any of these individuals come to collect the passport, they must bring:

• Photocopy of their government ID card.
• Original ICR (receipt).
• Authorization letter from the applicant.

Applicants who prefer not to collect in person and cannot have someone from the above list collect on their behalf should choose courier delivery during submission. They need to provide the complete delivery address on the cover letter, or it will be sent to the address on the Visa Application Form.

This change ensures the safe and secure return of documents to applicants.
