After your visa application is processed, you can either collect your documents from the Visa Application Centre or opt to have them delivered by courier for a fee. Note that in some centers, documents can only be returned via courier.

If you're collecting your documents in person, bring the Visa Application Centre receipt, a government ID, and self-attested photocopies of all applicants' IDs. Check with the Centre during your appointment for available collection options.

Third-party collection of documents is only allowed in specific cases:

1. Immediate family members (parent, child, sibling) applying together.
2. One member of a group application can collect for the entire group.
3. Someone collecting on behalf of government officials with an authorization letter on official letterhead.
4. Company representatives with an original authorization letter on company letterhead and an official ID card.

Additionally, the collecting third party needs to provide:

• Photocopy of government ID card
• Original ICR (receipt)
• Authorization letter from the applicant

For the 'Report Back' notice from the Consulate General of Italy in Kolkata, email the required documents within 7 days of returning from the Schengen area.

For Mumbai Jurisdiction:

• Visit the appropriate VFS Center within 5 days of return with passport copies, immigration stamps copies, and visa copy.
• For withdrawal of application, submit the withdrawal form in person at the VFS center.
