Visa Fee and Service Charges Information

  • Visa fees are provided in USD for reference and are payable in INR.
  • All applicants are required to pay the visa fee at the VFS center.
  • The service fee, which includes convenience charges, is INR 2970 per applicant.
  • Additional charges for value-added services, inclusive of taxes, are as follows:
  • Video Conferencing Charges: INR 3200 (applicable if the Embassy requests an interview).

For Nepalese Applicants:

  • A service fee of NPR 3944 per applicant will be applicable, along with any charges for value-added services.

Step-by-step guide

Let us walk you through the process

  • The first thing to do is figure out which visa you need and make sure you can apply for it. You should also find out what documents you need to send with your application, how long it might take, and the fees you have to pay.
  • Your application must follow the rules for your visa type. If your documents are not in English, you might have to get them translated before applying.

  • You can also download the visa application form, fill it out, print it, and take the completed form with you to the Ukraine Visa Application Centre for submission.

  • After you've completed your visa form, you should set up an appointment at a Ukraine Visa Application Centre to have your biometric data taken, which includes fingerprints and a photo.
  • Once you've successfully scheduled your appointment, you'll get an email confirming the date and a letter for the appointment. If you're with family or a group, make sure to book separate appointments for each person.

  • After sending your application, you'll need to pay the visa fee. If you download and print the form to bring to the Ukraine Visa Application Centre, you'll pay during your appointment there.
  • The Visa Application Centre is where you can make the visa fee payment.

  • You'll get an email notification once your decision is back at the Ukraine Visa Application Centre. If you prefer SMS updates or don't have easy email access, check if this option is offered at the Centre you're visiting.
  • You can also check your visa application status online using the Reference Number from your invoice/receipt and your last name.

  • After your visa decision, get your passport at the Ukraine Visa Application Centre or pay extra for courier delivery. For in-person collection, bring your Centre receipt and ID. Representatives need your authorization letter, their ID, and your receipt. Check Centre hours and options. Note: COVID-19 makes courier delivery mandatory.

DOCUMENT CHECKLIST

When applying for a work visa (Long stay visa D) to Ukraine from India, you will generally need to provide a comprehensive set of documents to support your application. The following checklist covers the most common documents needed:

  1. Visa Application: Signed visa application form.

    • Three months of updated bank statements with the bank’s stamp and signature (min. balance of USD 2,500).

    • Accommodation arrangements, etc.
    • Duly notarized sponsorship letter with original stamp and signature.
  9. Work Authorization: One of the following:
    • Original and certified copy of the work permit issued by Ukraine’s State Centre for Employment (provided by the employer).
    • Copy of the agreement with the Ukrainian company.
    • Certificate of Ukrainian descent issued by Ukraine’s National Committee on Persons of Ukrainian Descent and a copy of the work/employment contract.

VISA APPLICATION GUIDELINES:

  4. Submit Your Application: Visit the nearest Visa Application Center (VAC) operated by VFS Global or the Consulate General of Ukraine in India. Submit your visa application and the required documents, including the printed application form.
  5. Pay the Visa Fee: Pay the visa application fee, which is currently USD 85. You can pay this fee at the VFS Global visa application center when you submit your application.

Employment Work Visa (Type D Visa):

A Type D Employment Work Visa is a long-term visa that allows foreign nationals to live and work in Ukraine for more than 90 days. To apply for this visa, you must have a valid job offer from a Ukrainian employer. The visa is valid for up to one year and can be renewed multiple times.

Temporary Residence Permit for Employment:

A Temporary Residence Permit for Employment is a document that allows foreign nationals to live and work in Ukraine for a period of up to one year. Highly Qualified Specialist Visa (HQS):
